USF’s Willie Taggert looks to junior colleges for defensive end talent

Four-star signees receiver Darnell Salomon and safety Craig Watts highlighted a USF recruiting class that finished 65th in the nation, according to 247sports.com.

Given the youth of the Bulls, there were bigger classes than the Bulls. Still, there was help available.

Frank Johnson, a defensive end from Hines Community College, should be able to help quickly. Teammate LaDarrius Jackson is also coming. A third junior college defensive end, Tramal Ivy, is coming from Butler Junior College.
