What an interesting host committee behind this fundraiser for Darden Rice

Progressive leader Nancy Loehr and former Sheriff Everett Rice.

Progress Florida chief Mark Ferrulo and major GOP donor Jim Holton.

Republican activist Joe Triolo and incoming House Democrat Leader Darryl Rouson.

And, of course, there’s me and Michelle.

What an interesting host committee there is for a fundraiser for City Council District 4 candidate Darden Rice. The event is at Triolo’s home on May 17 with a suggested contribution of $100.

$100 is well worth the priced of admission to see such a bipartisan (or is post-partisan) political crowd in one room.

Then again, such a diversity of perspectives is reflective of the kind of exciting candidate Rice is. It says something that she is able to attract Democrats, Republicans, and independents to her banner.

I hope you can join us.
