My favorite rabble-rouser Gypsy Gallardo helped organize a forum of the St. Petersburg City Council candidates, during which a straw poll was held to, supposedly, gauge the favorites of the African-American community. Susan Latvala raises $8K for re-election bid

in The Bay and the 'Burg by

County Commissioner Susan Latvala picked up another $8K for her re-election bid, including contributions from Roy Fleming, Adam Goodman and Martha Lenderman. Latvala has about $46,900 left on hand. Latvala’s challenger Beverly Billiris raised $4,295, including checks from Mary Maloof and the Floridians for Principled Government PAC, in the 3Q, brining her total to just north of 10K.
