The ever-growing field of St. Petersburg mayoral candidates gathered today at The St. Petersburg Times’ offices for a series of interviews and a group photo shot of all those who have filed to run. Everyone except Deveron Gibbons, who had a board meeting at St. Petersburg College. Bill Foster jokingly suggested that the Times superimpose Gibbons into the photo. From the St. Petersburg Times‘ archives, the story of how the newest entrant into the mayoral race, who still has a billboard up from a previous race, didn’t pay his consultant and was sued accordingly: Former St. Petersburg mayoral candidate Larry Williams and a campaign consultant say they have settled a lawsuit that accused Williams of failing to pay $14,821.40 he owed.
