Surprised to be so far behind in the polls, with a rumor circulating that his own recent poll provided worse results than the one conducted by the St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership, Deveron Gibbons is tacking hard to the right in an apparent effort to take votes from fellow Republican Bill Foster, who is polling ahead of Gibbons.
Gibbons’ campaign mailed this piece, which emphasizes Gibbons’ conservative philosophy and pledge to “not support any tax increase if elected.”
This postcard seems pretty boring to me, with a cookie-cutter design on the front and just a picture of Gibbons on the reverse. I am not going to spend a lot of time critiquing this piece as it seems to be too little too late.
