Industrious party-goers and political gadflies in St. Petersburg can make a night of following voting results Tuesday by visiting gatherings that the City Council and mayoral candidates are organizing.
From Red Mesa Cantina to the Manhattan Casino, here’s a chance for voters to kick up their heels at some trendy spots while following the election results.
The following is a rundown of election-night watch parties that have been scheduled in St. Petersburg.
Mayor Bill Foster will be at the Manhattan Casino – 642 22nd Street South;
Mayoral candidate Rick Kriseman will be at NOVA 535 – 535 Dr. MLK Street North;
District 2 incumbent Jim Kennedy won’t be celebrating in his district, rather he will be at Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grille – 1320 Central Avenue;
District 2 candidate Lorraine Margeson will be watching election returns at her home;
District 4 candidate Darden Rice will be at Red Mesa Cantina – 128 3rd Street South;8
District 6 candidate Karl Nurse is not planning a get-together but said he will stop in at parties for Rice and Kriseman;
District 8 candidate Amy Foster will be at Ricky P’s Bistro – 1113 Central Avenue;
