Remember the time I broke the story that Bill Maxwell was retiring from the St. Petersburg Times and you all wondered how I knew?  Well, wonder again.  My sources inside the Times tell me that the effervescent food critic Laura Reiley, aka The Mouth of Tampa Bay, will be taking a year off from the newspaper to accompany her oh-so-fortunate husband to Europe.

Brian Ries is now confirming my story in his piece that “Laura Reiley taking a leave of absence from the St. Petersburg Times.

Evidently, The Mouth of Tampa Bay isn’t pleased that I outed her.
