Pam Bondi won another straw poll in the race for attorney general. The Florida Federation of Young Republicans conducted this most recent poll, which was closely contested, with Pam Bondi winning with 35 votes while Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp received 34 votes. A third candidate received 18 votes.
“Despite the Lt. Governor’s statewide profile, this straw poll reinforces what we are seeing throughout the state and country,” said Bondi consultant Brett Doster. “Republican voters are frustrated by the status quo. They are looking for a fresh start and want to elect new leaders who will stand up to the Pelosi-Obama agenda.”
Bondi has now won nearly every straw poll since she entered the race, most of them by significant margins.
“We really value the input of the young Republicans of Florida,” said candidate Pam Bondi. “We recently announced our Young Professionals Coalition, which will be led by a number of YRs. These are great leaders of our party, and I am honored to have their support.”
