Rays announce sellout for their opening game against Jays

For a day, Tropicana Field will be the place to be.

For the 11th straight season, the Trop will sell out on opening day, a statistic in sharp contrast to one of the worst-attended teams in Major League Baseball. It is the fourth earliest the team has announced a sellout.

Last year, the Tampa Bay Rays drew 31,042, one of two games (out of 82) the team has sold out. Chris Archer will pitch for the Rays.
