Stars weigh in on Super Bowl show, teams

in Sports/Top Headlines by

Country singer Dierks Bentley would love to be rooting on his Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday. With the Cardinals out after losing the NFC championship to the Carolina Panthers, he’s picking the other team for sentimental reasons.

“I’m pulling for the Broncos,” Bentley said. “That was like my original team before we had a team in Arizona. Huge fan of Peyton Manning‘s. I mean the Panthers’ story is amazing too, but I’m an older guy. I got to go with an older quarterback. I got to go with Peyton Manning on this one.”’ Other stars weighed in on their favorite halftime shows with choices including Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson to Tom Petty.
