Did the end of internet cafes protect citizens or hurt small business owners?
Did Tallahassee strategically avoid gun control talk despite increased national attention on the matter?
What was that whole hoopla on trauma centers about?
Such questions you may ask of the Pinellas County Legislative Delegation when they enter the Suncoast Tiger’s Den on May 14.
The end of session wrap-up will be held next Tuesday at noon at the St. Pete Marriott Clearwater, moderated by Darryl Paulson, aka “Professor Wit”, Professor Emeritus of Government at USF St. Pete.
Legislators will be given time to offer their take what happened — and didn’t happen — during legislative session before facing the spirited gauntlet of questions from Tiger Bay Club members and the moderator.
Confirmed legislators include Pinellas Delegation Chairman Larry Ahern, Senator Jack Latvala, Representative Kathleen Peters, Representative Carl Zimmerman, Representative James Grant, Representative Ed Hooper, Representative Dwight Dudley, and Senator Jeff Brandes.
Reservations are required to attend. Guests and non-members are welcomed. Fee is $25 for members, and $35 for guests. Visit the Tiger Bay website to register: www.TigerBay.org.
