Bright House to televise all Tampa Bay Rowdies home games in 2016

Bright House Networks (BHN) says it will broadcast all 16 Tampa Bay Rowdies home games for the 2016 season. The agreement between the Rowdies and BHN says coverage will start with the season opener April 2, and home games will air exclusively on Bright House Sports Network. Charter Communications Inc. is buying fellow cable operator Bright House Networks LLC in a deal valued at $10.4 billion. Charter is the fourth-largest cable operator in the U.S, while Bright House is the sixth biggest with customers in Florida, Alabama, Indiana, Michigan and California.
