Florida added 18,800 private-sector jobs in September, according to new employment data released by payroll company ADP. The ADP Regional Employment Report shows Florida adding more jobs than any other state tracked in the report except Texas, which added 24,900 jobs last month. Florida added another 15,200 private sector jobs last month, according to a new report released by payroll company ADP. The ADP Regional Employment Report shows the Sunshine State increased by 14,100 service industry jobs and another 1,100 goods-producing jobs, split evenly between manufacturing and mining and construction. Florida’s unemployment rate held steady at 4.7 percent in July, despite the creation of 26,500 new private-sector jobs, state officials announced Friday.
