In perhaps her biggest honor, the Sunshine City was tapped by “reader’s choice” for the best city, beating out Tampa. “Just learned we won Best City (of course!). Best city, best people. The Kriseman administration has overturned an employee’s suspension and agreed to pay her for the work day she missed. Stormwater employee Robin Wynn was suspended Friday for five days based on a comment she posted on social media referring to Mayor Rick Kriseman as a clown. According to union representative Brian “Cricket” Brehm, Wynn will return to work Wednesday. Traditional neighborhoods to get alley recycling pickup beginning in January

St. Pete Mayor Rick Kriseman announced Monday in a video that, beginning in January, recycling will be picked up in alleys at homes where garbage is collected there. St. Pete City Council approves budget amid protests from workers

St. Pete City Council unanimously approved the $224.3 million 2016 budget during another lengthy meeting Thursday.
