During the last month, I’ve written extensively about how Kendrick Meek’s sisyphean signature-gathering effort is further behind than the campaign wants to admit. State legislative candidate involved in traffic fatality

An elderly, possibly homeless man was struck and killed as he crossed West Columbus Drive on Friday night, Tampa police say. According to a report, the man was crossing in the middle of the 2900 block about 8:30 p.m. when he stepped in front of a 2006 Ford Escape driven by Christopher Cano, 26. Cano was unable to stop in time. The man was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he died. He had no identification on him, and investigators…
