Safire uses President Obama as an example when he says “I know some folks in Washington and on Wall Street are saying we should just focus on their problems.” Some folks, like those who are never named but are always wrongheaded extremists. The Times isn’t the only source with for exclusive polling information. I’ve obtained a copy of a comprehensive voter survey of 400 registered St. Petersburg voters. I’ll be sharing the results of this survey throughout the week. According to a survey of 400 registered voters in the City Council districts with an active race, almost 36% of respondents said they intended to vote by mail, a number that would represent a record number of early voters.
