The campaign finance reports aren’t in yet, but Pinellas school board candidate Terry Krassner tells supporters in her latest campaign note that she has already raised $15,000 from more than 100 individual contributors. That’s a lot of money in a short amount of time, and a sign of a well-connected, well-oiled machine.
Krassner, a retired principal and daughter of former board member Lee Benjamin, is running for the at-large, District 2 seat being vacated by Nina Hayden. At this point, there is one other candidate in the race: math/science coach Fonda Huff.
The campaign finance reports are due to the Supervisor of Elections office April 12.
